Bot Summary: | For Respondent(s) UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following ORDE By his order dated 31 January 2019, the Single Judge after recording the sequence of events, directed that the papers be Signature Not Verified placed before the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Digitally signed by MANISH SETHI Date: 2019.03.12 18:35:33 IST Reason: Madras so that appropriate orders for further posting of the proceedings can be issued. Since, the learned Judge has refrained from hearing of the case any further, it is now for the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Madras to assign it to an appropriate Bench. We are of the view, on perusing the contents of the order, that it would be appropriate if the Chief Justice of the High Court expeditiously assigns the hearing of the proceedings to a Division Bench, to be specifically nominated in that behalf. Save and except for the aforesaid observation, we see no reason to entertain the Special Leave Petition which is accordingly, dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of. |
